PS.: Five days later I got woken up with a "Mami? Love you!"
PPS.: Manchmal geht das Mama-Loben auch daneben. "Good boy!" sagt sie zu mir. "Nein, Tara, zu Mama kannst du nicht good boy sagen, das kannst du nur zu Jungs sagen," sage ich ihr. "Neeeeiiiin," jammert Tara. "Good boy zu Mama!"

It goes something like this:
We're playing rough.
Tara: Play NICELY with-the Tara.
Me: Ok. You're so sweet. I love you.*
Tara: I love you too.**
* Mildly idiotic conversation. I say this a lot to her, especially when she's delievered a cute mixed sentence.
** Original is German vocab with English word order.
It was my first 'I love you too' and I loved it!
