Wondering why we're not blogging?

Home is where the heart is, and to us that is where Tara and Leo are. At the moment, it's England (where Tara and Leo were born). But it could just as well be Germany (where Alex is from) or Spain (where Jose is from). The kids' diary is for all our friends and family who can only watch our babies grow from a distance - and of course, for Tara and Leo, with love.

This picture reminds me of that scene in "E.T.", where the mom opens the door of the closet (American walk-in closet, of course) and takes a look at like a thousand of dolls, and you see E.T. blend perfectly into that cuddly scenery. Of course Tara is much too beautiful to be confused with an alien, but she and her friends are a spitting image (of cutiepieness!). I hope you pulled the right doll out before closing the box!!
Seriously, don't mix up your cutie-pie daughter with a box of, say, expired baking goods...
Good luck with the move, I don't envy you at all. But hopefully Sandwich will be yummy...I mean, nice.
Ah, you see: the beauty of organized moves... I've been baking the outdated stuff up and been offering coconut macaroons round the office. All my colleagues agreed that they tasted fine, and that in the good old days things never had expiry dates anyway. Coconut a year past its best-by, pah! Nothing compared to what you could find in my mum's cupboard! She's not moved since about 27 years ago, and you wouldn't want to KNOW!
Hide and seek is such fun especially when you are so young - peek a boo Mummy - peek a boo daddy - don't forget me!!!
Less than a week to go before the three of you will be together in your new family home in Sandwich - good luck with the packing and the travel arrangements.
P.S. I can see you have remembered to pack the most important things first
